Ciara Back In The Studio Album # 4

Ciara has been laying low as of late, but for good reason. The R&B singer is well into recording her fourth album and we’ve got the exclusive details.

Christopher “Tricky” Stewart and his songwriting partner The-Dream have been secretly spending the summer in the studio producing the entire follow-up to Ciara’s Fantasy Ride. Stewart broke the news to Rap-Up.com in an exclusive interview. “We’re doing the whole project,” he reveals. “We’re pretty good into it at this point. We’re about 14 songs deep right now.”

The 23-year-old ATLien relocated to the West Coast to work on the album with Tricky and Dream, who crafted “High Price” and “Like a Surgeon” off this year’s Fantasy Ride. “She came out to L.A. to work with us. We’re out here making this record ’cause it feels good and the vibe is good,” says the Grammy-winning producer.

The as-yet-untitled effort will feature danceable tracks that have become Ciara’s signature. “This record obviously is gonna have tempo to it, but I think it’s gonna have even more substance than the last record,” Tricky discloses. “She dances and we always want to bring out what she does that other people don’t.”

Although Fantasy Ride boasted collaborations with a who’s who of the industry including Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, and Ludacris, the “Love Sex Magic” singer will be riding solo this time. “This album we wanted to take a few steps back and make it more about her, so the only feature is Dream. But the features that we do on this record will be remixes.”

The hitmaker even shared a couple song titles with Rap-Up.com. “I love ‘Speechless.’ I love this record called ‘Gifted.’ Those are two of my favorites. ‘Speechless’ is the record with her and Dream together.”

While there’s still the possibility of a release by the end of the year, it’s looking like 2010 will mark Super C’s return. “It’s a little up in the air, but there’s a chance that it might come this year. That was the goal, but at the same time, we didn’t want to rush anything. I think it’s looking more like a next year thing.”

Ciara is pulling out all the stops to make this her best work yet. “Right now, she’s on her grind, coming back, trying to make a better album than she made last time and get back to that mark where everybody knew that she was in the top tier of the female business.”

Ok. Ya'll already know that I'm like the biggest Ciara fan. I love her soo much and I love anything she puts her mind to. I'm eager to see how this collaboration will turn out. Mariah Carey just had a huge collaboration with the same producers for her latest album. And the material sounds good. I really want Ciara to spread her wings. I want her to work with Polow The Don again. Ya'll can't tell me "Promise" wasnt hot!!!

Yesss. Finally "The New Moon" posters has been revealed. I'm so excited for this movie. Its one of my fav. An ex of mine made me fall in love with the first movie. I've already read the books. But to me, the books are always better than the movie. But twilight is fitting everything in the right ways. I love it.

“I don’t really look like her, but I

think people compare us because we’re both on the edge and we both like to be a bit freaky. We’re both a bit controversial and make people say, ‘What is she doing?’ I think it’s a compliment to be compared to her because she’s very good at what she does and she’s a

writer too. Maybe we can work together one day? I’d love that.”

On her album sound/release date:
“Very uptempo, very electronic and very exciting. The way I sing is quite urban, but the beats are going to be club beats and there will definitely be elements of rock too. I want to release it this year! I really want to release it this year, but they’re telling me it’s going to be the beginning of 2010 and there’s going to be another single first.”

On her Mohawk:
“I’ve had it like this for three months. I saw this style in Tokyo a couple of years ago and thought ‘Nobody wears a Mohawk these days, so why don’t I try it?’ I comb it and make it flat before I go to sleep unless I’m feeling tired and lazy. And I have these hats that I can pull over it, but people are like ‘Why’s she wearing this massive hat?’ When I go to the gym people look at me like I’m some kind of conehead!”

The Show opening for Micheal Jackson was hott as hell. I love the fact that Janet came out and finished it all. Plus she had all of the best choreographers on stage with her. Laurie Ann, Wade Robson and others. Werk J.J Lady Gaga gave a beautiful, theatrical performance of her hit song "Paparazzi". It was amazing. She had blood and everything. She really loves to take chances. Werk Gaga once again. Beyonce performed Sweet Dreams/Single Ladies. Her performance was amazing as well. She had like a rockett thing going on. And she really showed people how to j-sett. Aoww.. Kanye stupid ass, interrupt Taylor Swift's award speech to say "Beyonce has the best video of all time". I felt so bad for Taylor. But when Beyonce won she called Taylor Swift out to say her speech. That was really sweet. Pink performance was outta this world too. She had all of us scared for her. She was flipping and shit. But it was hot. It made me download the song. Jay-z closed the show with Alica Keys performing Empire State Of Mind. My new fav song. It was a really hot performance. Until Lil'Mama little ass came on the stage. For whatever reason i really don't know. But she did. And gave the b-boyz stance at the end like she had something to do with the song. Get the fuck outta her Lil'Nigga!!!!!!

VMA"s WEEKEND (AOWWWWWW)

Hey everyone. So basically this weekend was the MTV Video Music Awards. That's like Sunday Night football for the Gays (aoww). So I wanted to do something different and invite my closes friends over to watch it with me. I basically hosted an awards party with 5 ppl. Of course my bestie Paul (Alonzo) was there, my 2 best friends Kylee, Romeo and Paul's little brother Johnathan. I had such a good time. I could tell that we all did. Chinese, Micky'ds, Soda, debates and great convo. This is part of the reason I love my friends so much. They are the only ones that keeps me happy and stabled. So of course I took pictures. A lot. lol. But anyways, lets talk about this amazing funny ass show we call "The VMA's".

OK soo, the red carpet was cute. Lady Gaga showed up with Carmet (The Frog), and a dress pinned up to her neck. People was like "wtf" but i expected that from her. What i love about her is that she would wear something straight from the runway, and isnt scared to take chances. Werk Gaga, plus, she lives for the gays (aoww). I thought it was strange that Ms. Fefe Dopson was in attendance, but the "Ella Queen" herself Rihanna wasn't. Hmm..Rihanna prob gagg when she saw Dopson on the carpet and turn her ass right back around. Beyonce's dress was really unexpected for me because she usually does glitter and shit to that nature. But she didn't do it this time around. Hmm. She looked cute tho. Kanye came drunk and was still drinking. I feel so bad for Amber because she has to put up with him during his drama. But she looked really good. The snake thing works for her. Bald head and all. lol. J.LO THAT BRAID PONYTAIL WAS A FUCKIN KIKI....DON'T DO IT AGAIN. She looked really good tho. Amerie was very simple but cute. Cassie go tha fuck off. I love her soo much. Shes really starting to grow on me. But mamas wheres the singles. The home wrecker Alica Keys looked cute as well.
